my pinhole shots

Some differences I noticed was they are flipped around, for example the tire on the car is on the left side in the positive but on the right side on the negative. Also the positive is a little darker and the negative is really white.

negative-noting an image in which the brightness values of the subject are reproduced so that the lightest areas are shown as the darkest

9/11

This picture is both lines and simplicity. It shows the American flag and 2 hangs holding each other meaning that we are a family and are always there for our people, good or bad.

This picture is balance. Although the other building is falling down, its evened out with all of the smoke. This is a very powerful picture, and also a very sad one.

This is the rules of third the man is in the middle of the picture and the background is all of the boxes. I think that the man is praying, but I can't really make it out. That is the only flaw with this picture, I think. Also it is framing, because all of the boxes are surrounded around the main subject.

Hurricane Ike

This picture caught my eye because its crazy how such a huge wave and wind can destroy so many houses. A good example of this picture is balance because the wave makes a good triangular shape. I like this picture because of the composition.

This picture is good example for the rules of thirds because the picture is all the same with a fish stuck right in the middle of the fish. I like this picture because its a strange picture. You don't see a fish stuck on a fence everyday.

PINHOLE CAMERA

1. There is no person or action in this photo, just a empty resurant booth. There is a blur in this photo, mainly because of the lighting (I think) in the background.

2. What is in focus is the bright lighting at the bar, and what is out of focus is the booth because its sort of dark and hard to see.

3. This image is not warped.

1. There is not a person or action in this photograph, which is sortof the reason why I like it. It is a standstill and calm which got me to notice it. There is not a blur in this picture.
2. Its hard to say which is in focus and which is not, but I would have to say that the trees are in focus and the flower petals on the ground are out of focus.
3. This image is not warped.
